• Multiple style options for portrait generation
• Image editing through conversational AI
• Image download capabilities

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to create an account
• You may only create one account per person
• Accounts are non-transferable

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
• Upload sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene images
• Upload images depicting violence, gore, or harm to individuals
• Upload images that infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Upload images of other people without their consent
• Create fake, misleading, or deceptive content (e.g., deepfakes for fraud)
• Generate content that harasses, bullies, or threatens others

4.2 Prohibited Activities

• Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without authorization

5. User Content & Photos

5.1 Your Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the photos you upload ("User Content"). By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content
• You have permission from any individuals depicted in the photos
• The content does not violate any third-party rights
• The content complies with these Terms and applicable laws

5.2 License to Us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Process your photos through our AI system
• Create derivative works (the generated images)
• Temporarily store content as necessary to provide the Service

This license is solely for the purpose of providing the Service and terminates when your session ends or you delete your account.

5.3 No Permanent Storage

We do not permanently store your photos on our servers. Images are processed in real-time and stored only in your browser session. When you refresh or close the page, images are deleted.

5.4 Photos of Others

If you upload photos of other people (including minors):

• You must have their explicit consent (or parental/guardian consent for minors)
• You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining such consent
• You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from lack of consent

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and underlying technology, is owned by Selfie Bump and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Generated Images

Subject to these Terms, you own the images generated by the Service based on your uploaded photos. You may use, download, share, and commercially use your generated images.

6.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our Service's code or design
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
• Create competing services using our technology

7. AI-Generated Content

7.1 Nature of AI Output

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate images. You acknowledge that:

• AI output may vary and is not guaranteed to meet specific expectations
• Generated images are interpretations, not exact reproductions
• Results depend on input quality and style selected
• The AI may occasionally produce unexpected or imperfect results

7.2 No Guarantees

7.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing generated images before use
• Ensuring generated images are appropriate for your intended use
• Compliance with applicable laws when using generated images

8. Credits & Payments

8.1 Credit System

• The Service operates on a credit-based system
• Each image generation consumes credits as specified
• Credits are associated with your account and are non-transferable

8.2 Purchases

• Credit packages may be purchased through the Service
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Prices may change at any time; existing credit balances are unaffected

8.3 Refund Policy

• Technical errors that prevented service delivery
• Duplicate charges
• Other circumstances we deem appropriate

To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase with your transaction details.

8.4 Free Credits

We may offer free credits for promotional purposes. Free credits:

• May expire if not used within a specified period
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• May be subject to additional terms

9. Disclaimers

9.1 "As Is" Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Availability or uninterrupted access
• Accuracy or reliability of results

9.2 No Professional Advice

The Service does not provide professional photography, artistic, legal, or any other professional advice. Generated images are for personal use and should not be relied upon for professional purposes without independent verification.

9.3 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services (including Google Gemini, Stripe, and Supabase) that we use to provide the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

10.1 No Liability for Damages

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Business interruption
• Loss of goodwill
• Any damages resulting from AI-generated content

10.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
• $100 USD

10.3 Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Selfie Bump, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload or generate
• Your violation of applicable laws

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Using the account deletion feature in your profile settings
• Contacting us to request account deletion

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of applicable laws
• Conduct we deem harmful to other users or the Service
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• Unused credits are forfeited (except where prohibited by law)
• We may delete your account data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved as follows:

1. Informal Resolution: Contact us first to attempt to resolve the dispute informally
2. Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration
3. Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action

13.3 Exceptions

Notwithstanding the above:

• Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction
• For EU/EEA residents: You may have additional rights under local law

14. Changes to Terms
